Bracelets

Came across a great tutorial yesterday on the gossiping goddess blog. So I had to try it out, although I didn’t have any seed beads but wondered if it would work for a larger bead and jump rings. It’s definitely much more affective with small beads although it still looks quite good with the larger ones I used.

I used 8 mm  sodalite beads, white waxed linen cord and silver jump rings.

This one I used 10 mm fire agate beads, black waxed linen cord and black jump rings.

I Was Unplugged

For three days no internet and it just goes to show how much we rely on it. Every time I thought to do something I was stymied by the fact that I was internet-less.  Couldn’t check emails, couldn’t read blogs,  googling was impossible and because my employment is all on-line I was kind of jobless too.

Anyway it’s up and working again thank goodness, so to celebrate I thought I’d show you some lovelies I’ve found whilst browsing before I lost my connection.

I Haven’t Been Idle

I’ve been making stuff, photographing, editing, describing and uploading to my new little on-line store.

I’ve named it Artisan Clay and it’s filled (not to the brim yet, but I’m working on it) with art beads, pendants, gift tags and soon, toggle and clasps, buttons, and anything else I can think of that is a hand made original art bead.

It’s an Australian site called Craftumi (a sister site to madeit.com where my jewellery is for sale) specifically for craft supplies and international buyers are welcome
