Bracelets

Came across a great tutorial yesterday on the gossiping goddess blog. So I had to try it out, although I didn’t have any seed beads but wondered if it would work for a larger bead and jump rings. It’s definitely much more affective with small beads although it still looks quite good with the larger ones I used.

I used 8 mm  sodalite beads, white waxed linen cord and silver jump rings.

Pop on over to the blog and check it out. It’s a great tutorial and Lesley’s bracelet and necklace using the same technique are lovely and her instructions and photos are great.

  1. Don't you just love that tute? I used it in my Bead Soup, go check it out and see. The hardest thing for me is stringing the seed beads. I want to put a needle on the string! :)

  4. Great bracelets...I checked out the tutorial and really like the idea! Gives a really great way to use seed beads for someone like me who has many but doesn't use them in the "traditional" way...but then I guess it is a good thing be creative and come up with something new and interesting.

Congrats on the sale of the top bracelet!
    Cheers
